At this point on the motor boat tour through Blue Mountain Lake, the tourist looks back on beautiful Blue Mountain towering to a height of 3759 ft.

Blue Mountain, its lofty peak the geographical heart of the Adirondacks, is an impressive sight at anytime, but especially so in the deep of winter.  Clothed in winter's snowy mantle it presents a picture of majestic grandeur never to be forgotten.  Blue Mountain Lake, Central Adirondack Mountains, N.Y.

Approaching the Village of Blue Mountain Lake, one sees Blue Mountain House, perched 2200' above sea level.  Blue Mountain Lake lies at the head of two watersheds, one draining north to the St. Lawrence River and the other South to the Hudson River.

The tourist drives south on Route 28 and 365 and comes to this beautiful view, to the west of Blue Mountain Lake.  Central Adirondack Mts., Blue Mountain Lake, New York.
