Approaching the Village of Blue Mountain Lake, one sees Blue Mountain House, perched 2200' above sea level. Blue Mountain Lake lies at the head of two watersheds, one draining north to the St. Lawrence River and the other South to the Hudson River.
The tourist drives south on Route 28 and 365 and comes to this beautiful view, to the west of Blue Mountain Lake. Central Adirondack Mts., Blue Mountain Lake, New York.
